Join us for on Wednesday, November 6th, at the State of the Lakes Bank. Doors open at 6:00 PM for fellowship, questions, and quilting help. Meeting starts 6:30 PM.
Tonight’s speaker will be April Soulak-Andrews, founder of Penny’s Purpose. Join us to learn about this wonderful charity. The Penny’s Purpose was founded in October 2019 by April Soulak-Andrews, as a heartfelt tribute to her late mother, Penny Soulak, who sadly passed away in July 2019 after a brief illness. Penny’s life was marked by a deep commitment to giving, whether it was extending a helping hand to people or animals in need. Even in times when resources were limited, Penny always found a way to make a positive impact. This unwavering spirit inspired our mission statement, which is encapsulated by the phrase, “Learn to give, even when blessed with less.”
In addition to presenting at our November meeting, our members are invited to attend The Penny’s Purpose annual blanket making party November 9th at the Antioch VFW. Attendees are encouraged to bring their own materials, and food will be provided. For more information visit: www.thepennyspurpose.org.
