Please join us for our March 2nd meeting. The virtual meeting will be available at 6:45pm, with the meeting starting at 7:00pm. This month’s topic will be “Get on the Orphan Train…how to use Orphan blocks and scraps and empty those bins!”
Are you overloaded with scraps? Inundated by orphan blocks from previous projects or UFO pieces? Come along on the Orphan Train and learn many ways of using these bits and pieces in your quilting. As a bonus, learn how to make a gorgeous quilt without a single piece of new fabric! Bust those scrap bins, quilters, and use up those orphans! No frustration math or graphing required!!!Joan Cain is a retired Nurse Practitioner who now puts together bits of fabric instead of repairing people! She brings her prize-winning quilts to Guilds and shows across the country, and her goal is to make your quilting room your happy place by making those “shoot me now” projects simple and approachable for every quilter.
