UFO Location Change
Starting in July, the UFO’s will be held at the Grant Township Center, 26725 W Molidor Rd, Ingleside 60041.
Due to limited seating, this is only open to members at this time.
June 29th UFO Location Change
The location for the UFO Day on the 29th from 9:00 – 5:00 has been changed to Grant Township Building, 26725 W Molidor Rd, Ingleside, IL. Seating is limited, so if you are interested in reserving one of the 20 tables, please email UFO@nlcqg.org.
The room is on the lower level, and everyone should enter through the back of the building. No stairs. This will be the location for our UFO days through the end of 2024 and reservations will be needed for each month. Due to the limited seating, this event is only open to members at this time.

Skill Builder – June 29th, 1pm –Twister Demo
Twister Sisters Designs has many twister tools, we even have some in our guild library as well as pattern books! There’s the original Twister, the Midi, the Lil’, the Mini, the Tiny, the Itty Bitty… have we listed them all? Nominating Committee
Pat Giovacchini will be heading up the Nominating Committee to nominate candidates for President for the next term. Please let her know if you would like to co-chair this committee or if you would like to nominate a fellow member or yourself for the position.
Ornament of the Month Resumes in 2024
Our 2023 Ornament of The Month Christmas tree won third prize at the Kringle’s Christmas Village display in Antioch! From the cash prize won, we will be funding two decorated trees this coming holiday season. More information is available under: Ornament of the Month 2024
May 23rd – Wool Group Cancelation
The Wool Applique Group on Thursday May 23, 2024. is cancelled. UFO – New Days Added
Starting this weekend, three two day sewing retreats have been scheduled at the township center.- Join us both Saturday May 25th (From 9-9) and Sunday May 26th (From 9-5) to work on your UFO’s (you can leave your sewing machine and supplies there Saturday night).
- Additional dates (more information to come) are June 8th & 9th and June 28th & 29th so mark your calendars!
Date & Time Change for July!
Due to our location change (and the fact that many of you would like to enjoy a fireworks celebration on the 3rd) we will be pushing the July guild meeting back one week. Mark your calendars to celebrate with BINGO and ice cream at the Lake Villa Library on July 10th from 6:30 – 8:30!
